Pipe
Lining
Pipe lining is a smarter, less invasive way to repair damaged pipes—and it’s our specialty. At Real Deal Plumbing Sd LLC, our certified technicians have completed over 150 successful jobs using industry-leading Picote technology, including a brush coating system that applies a two-part epoxy to create a new lining inside your existing pipes. This method restores full pipe function without excavation, helping you avoid unnecessary costs and property disruption.

What Is Pipe Lining in Plumbing?
Pipe lining is a trenchless rehabilitation technique used to restore the structural integrity of existing plumbing systems without removing the original piping. In our process, a two-part epoxy resin is pumped through the interior of the damaged pipe to form a new pipe within the old one. This cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) method seals cracks, fills gaps, and eliminates intrusions—such as root infiltration—without excavation.
It’s commonly used for deteriorated sewer lines, cast iron pipes, and clay or PVC systems. The result is a seamless, jointless, corrosion-resistant pipe that restores flow capacity and extends the system’s service life. This plumbing technique is a reliable solution for residential and commercial systems, offering long-lasting results without the disruption of traditional pipe replacement.

What To Expect From the Pipe Lining Process?
Here’s how our process works from start to finish:
- Initial free inspection: We begin with an inspection to assess the pipe.
- Pipe preparation: Using Picote milling tools and high-speed cleaning systems, we remove roots, corrosion, and scale buildup to prep the internal surface for the lining.
- Lining application: Our team uses the Picote brush system to evenly distribute a two-part epoxy resin inside the existing pipe. This coats and adheres to the interior walls, filling cracks and gaps.
- Curing and testing: The epoxy cures in place to form a strong, watertight inner pipe. Once hardened, we perform another inspection and flow test to confirm lining integrity.
- Final review: We review the completed work and provide a 15-year warranty for the project.
How Long Does Pipe Lining Take?
The timeline for pipe lining varies by job complexity. Most projects take 1 to 7 days, depending on the footage, pipe condition, and layout challenges (such as multiple bends, junctions, or collapsed sections).
We typically respond to service calls on the same day or a schedule based on the customer's availability. Free estimates, testing, and follow-ups are all included as part of our service.
